Every key opens a door. Every door opens a story.
These are not statement pieces in the loud sense. They are meant to sit inside an outfit rather than dominate it — the graphic does the talking, and it talks quietly. Here is how we wear them.
The heavyweight tees
Garment-dyed, 6.1 oz, cut relaxed. They hold their shape on their own and layer without bulk.
Alone: with faded straight-leg denim and worn leather. The washed colour does better against other worn things than against anything crisp.
Layered: under an open flannel or an unstructured jacket. Most of our artwork sits on the back, so an open layer frames it rather than hiding it.
Colder months: under a crewneck with the collar showing. The heavier weight means it reads as a base layer without disappearing.
The tanks
Cut retail — structured, not clinging. Built for heat rather than for the gym.
Alone: with wide linen or loose chinos. Let the shoulder line do the work.
Layered: under an open camp collar shirt. The back print reads through the gap when you move.
The cropped pieces
Slim through the body, cut short. They want a high waist under them — denim, tailored trousers, a long skirt.
The gold-toned artwork sits well against warm neutrals: bone, sand, olive, rust. It fights with cool blue-greys.
Reading the artwork
Most of these pieces carry a small mark on the chest and the full drawing on the back. That is deliberate. From the front, you look like someone wearing a plain tee. From behind, you are carrying a memento mori skull in a laurel wreath, or Atlas holding a spiralling globe, or a compass rose drawn from a chart nobody kept.
It is a private joke with yourself that other people are allowed to notice.
On the colour
Garment-dyed fabric is dyed after the shirt is sewn, which is why the colour sits unevenly and softens at the seams. Two pieces in the same colourway will not be identical. This is the point, not a fault — the shirt starts where a normal shirt gets to after two years.
