TERMS OF SERVICE
By using the ClavisHouse website and placing an order, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.
MADE TO ORDER
Every ClavisHouse piece is printed and finished after you place your order. Nothing is held in stock. This is why our production and delivery times are longer than a conventional retailer's, and why our return terms are different. Both are set out in the Shipping Policy and the Refund Policy.
PRODUCT APPEARANCE
Garment colours may vary slightly from what you see on screen, because monitor calibration and print processes differ. Our garment-dyed pieces are dyed after the shirt is sewn, so colour sits unevenly and varies slightly between batches. This is characteristic of the process, not a fault.
Measurements listed in each Size Guide are of the garment laid flat and carry a small manufacturing tolerance, stated on the product page.
PRICING AND ORDERS
Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude sales tax, which is calculated at checkout from your delivery address. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the number of pieces in your order.
Prices may change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including where a product has been listed at an incorrect price or where we suspect fraudulent activity. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we refund it in full.
An order is confirmed when you receive our confirmation email. Orders can only be cancelled before production begins, usually within a few hours of purchase.
SHIPPING AND RETURNS
We currently ship within the United States only. Delivery estimates, shipping rates, replacements for damaged or misprinted items, and our position on change-of-mind returns are set out in full in the Shipping Policy and the Refund Policy. Those documents form part of these terms.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All designs, artwork, photographs and written content on this site are the intellectual property of ClavisHouse. You may not reproduce, distribute or use them commercially without our written permission.
Our designs draw on public-domain traditions such as classical sculpture, memento mori imagery and nineteenth-century botanical illustration. We use AI illustration tools during drafting and rebuild every design by hand; this is described in full on our AI Usage Disclosure page. Each piece is reviewed against existing marks and known artwork before release. If you believe a design infringes your work, write to sales@clavishouse.com and we will review it promptly.
ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to use this site to break the law, to interfere with its operation or security, or to submit false information at checkout.
ACCOUNTS
You may order as a guest or create an account. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that takes place under it.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
CHANGES
We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time you place your order is the version that applies to it.
GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.
